Bishop Thompson gave a powerful sermon on Sunday stressing the significance of not allowing your emotions dictate your self-worth. What I admire most about his sermons is his willingness to draw from his personal experiences to provide insight into managing our feelings. We, as individuals, are emotional beings just like Jesus, whom we emulate, and who experienced emotions. However, we should never let our emotions entirely control our behavior. This message resonated with me, highlighting the significance of allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our decisions instead of relying solely on our emotions.
