1975-2024
Pastor Dwayne Lamont Parker, Sr. (48) of Quinton, New Jersey departed this life at home after a brief illness on Friday, September 13, 2024. He was born to the late Bishop Nathaniel Parker, Sr. and the late Evangelist Sally Mae Smith-Parker on December 9, 1975, in Bridgeton, New Jersey. He was affectionately called “Pastor Parker” by both saints and friends.
Pastor Parker completed his education within the Fairfield Township School System where he graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in Bridgeton, New Jersey in 1994. During his high school years, he was an All Conference basketball player. After graduating high school, Dwayne attended Delaware Tech in Wilmington, Delaware.
On April 26, 1997, Pastor Parker married his high school sweetheart, Kim Pitts. He would often say that he always knew as a teenager that he would marry a girl named Kim and that he did. They affectionately called one another “Babe.” He never wanted to leave Kim’s side. When you would see one the other wouldn’t be too far away. A close friend would fondly refer to them as “Barack & Michelle Obama.” They were a beautiful and loving couple.
Pastor Parker was previously employed at Leone Industries, Gateway Foundation Substance Abuse Program as a counselor at South Woods State Prison, and currently employed as a Instructional Technician for the State of New Jersey at South Wood State Prison in Bridgeton, New Jersey since 2007.
Pastor Parker received Christ as his personal savior in 1995. He joined hard to In His Image Ministries in 1999 and in 2001, Bishop Thompson ordained him as a Minister of the Gospel. He soon attended Cumberland Bible Institute now Last Day Remnant Bible College (LDRBC) where he became a Certified Evangelical Training Association Instructor. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and was ordained an Elder. Through the laying on of hands by Bishop Thompson and the presbytery, he was consecrated to serve as Assistant Pastor of In His Image in 2006. Later he accepted the call of Pastorship under Bishop Thompson. During his ministerial journey, Pastor Parker received an honorary Master of Theology Degree from LDRBC.
Pastor Parker loved the church and served wherever needed. He served as the Sunday School Superintendent, Coordinator of Men’s Ministry, Committee member of Couples Ministry, member of Trustees, Bachelor and Master Level Bible College Instructor and visionary for the In His Image Vision Team. Additionally, the National Congress of Black Women of Washington DC recognized Elder Parker for outstanding community service. He received letters of commendation from State and County Officials along with the Juvenile Detention Center Directors for exceptional leadership and volunteer work. Pastor Parker also served with his brothers, Apostle Robert Parker and Elder Terry Parker as the President of the Kingdom Builders.
Alongside of serving in ministry and leading the Body of Christ with spiritual instruction, Pastor Parker was an entrepreneur. He was the Founder and Director of the Crossover Basketball Mentorship Program where he taught kids in the community the art of playing basketball. He was also the Founder of Recharge Lifestyle Apparel and Fitly Juices. His most recent endeavor and passion was Big Boy Trades where he was studying to be financially dependent on the stock market.
Pastor Parker was a mastermind in so many things. He often spoke of his God-given gift to recite chapters of Scriptures by memory in one sitting. One of the Scriptures that he recited the most during the ending of his earthly journey was the 3rd Chapter of Ezekiel where the Lord told him to eat the whole roll. This is the Scripture Pastor Parker said he was called to ministry from.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Elect Lady
An anointed woman of God who refuses to compromise the preaching and teaching of the gospel
Elect Lady Dr. Thompson accepted the Lord in 1979 at an open-air service, under the late Apostle Johnny L. Washington, who was the Pastor and founder of Tabernacle of Prayer For All People church located in Jamaica Queens, New York.
There, Elect Lady Thompson served faithfully on the Choir, which made her into an awesome worshipper and psalmist. She fulfilled her passion for souls by being an active member of the Prison Ministry and Street Outreach Team, where she ministered to hundreds of souls each year.
She is a graduate of Tabernacle of Deliverance Bible Institute, under the direction of the late Dr. Clarence L. Johnson. In addition she attended the Tabernacle Bible Institute in Jamaica Queens, New York.
Her Christian education has brought her to obtain certification from Evangelical Training Institute (ETA), where she is currently an instructor at the Last Day Remnant Bible Institute Bridgeton, New Jersey, which serves both Cumberland and Atlantic counties.

Graced by God with the anointing to teach and to preach the word with wisdom and revelation, he had committed to memory chapters of Scripture and held firmly to the instruction of I Timothy 1:18 “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them might war a good warfare.”
After suffering through a brief period of illness, Pastor Parker was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 13, 2024 surrounded by his cherished family. Hundreds of tributes have been rendered to him, a testament to to the countless number of persons who loved him and were touched by his Christ-centerd life. This includes, but not limited to, his much loved In His Image family, those he counseled, mentored or just encouraged.
